Coming out of self imposed exile.....

I lost my nail mojo for a minute there and I have it back so I am going to be posting a lot more frequently. My latest nail acquisitions were the Zoya Truth and Dare Collections and some of their mattes so you will be seeing pics of those coming up very soon. I also purchased a KONAD nail system so I will have some of the Konad-icures in upcoming posts. And last put not least I have a new camera that takes pretty decent pics so hopefully they will be helpful to you. So more to come tommorrow. I am hoping to swatch some of my OPIs that I haven't pulled out in a year and post some pics. I will see you soon!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear = LOVE

I recently discovered this brand and I have to tell you that I love them. I purchased these two from Wal-Mart awhile back for $2 and some change and they are worth every penny. They apply so smoothly. I love the brush because it is fairly long and almost reaches the bottom of the bottle. It is also very fluffy which I love. The green polish is called Emerald City and it just perfect for the upcoming holidays. Green polish isn’t for everyone but it certainly does leave an impression and for those of you that like to stand out in a crowd this will help with that. And the blueish steel color is called Gunmetal. I am completely in love with this color. I have several similar colors but this one blows those out of the water. It is the perfect mix of granite and blue. Just lovely. As far as the wear, I was able to get 3 days of perfect wear out of them. And I ran them through the ringer. I don’t have dishwasher and I have 3 small children. So they were not given any special treatment and they held up superbly. I am already planning to pick some more of these the next time I go to Wal-mart because it is real value for your money and they have a nice range of offbeat colors which I love. Thanks for reading!

Hi World Wide Web!

I started this blog in order to share my thoughts, opinions, likes, dislikes, etc. with regard to nail polish/enamel/lacquer. I have become what is commonly known as a "nail addict". There is nothing better than a freshly applied manicure. I love painting my nail tips with bold, bright, vibrant colors. Since I am on a very very (did I say very) limited budget I may not always be able to share the designer (chanel, yves st. laurent, lippmann) polishes nor the latest collection releases with you.
